My. Medical offers 3.5 V Lithium Ion Rechargeable Handle which is 50% less the weight of conventional 3.5 V handles. It is made up CYCOLOY engineering resin for a tough finish.

It is compatible to all Welch Allyn 3.5 V instrument heads with twice of on-time compared to the usual 60 minutes for standard NiCad handles.  

The handle is built with Low-battery indicator to let you know if it needs recharging. It uses Lithium ion battery technology. It s designed for AC charging only , with easily removable module from the handle. For model 71900 only, it coes with retractable AC prongs. For optional charging, the handles can be charged via consoles or 71110 Desk Charger.
