John Raphela also known as J Rapz was born and raised in alexandra living with amother and siblings.J is the oldest of his siblings and lost his parent in 2010 leaving him with siblings to take care of at a very young ageLater on in life he met a group that was enthused to do the same thing with their careers as they were also artists,an album was recorded but could not be released dou to complications later during the arrangement.

Rapz gave up on music because he felt everything he did was not giving a positive outcome so he went on to find work in fashion retail but later on got his calling again to the music so he left work to start working as a solo artistand at 26 started recording his first album named T.A.C.A.?? (Terms and conditions apply)Four singles down the line as a solo artist and things are looking up,he is being invited to new places and meets new faces daily.This just goes to show that you can run but you cant hide from what your purpose is in life
