DA OPA HOID
A short 2D-animation.
"Da Opa hoid" (engl. "Just Grandpa") is a short 2D-animation movie created by Lisa Gierlinger, Doris Rastinger and me. It was made with MOHO for a university course. The movie was shown on several occasion, like the Tricky Women festival in Vienna or at a short movie night at a cinema in Lower Austria.
I helped with the animation of the characters and the doodles on the pictures.
The movie depicts the daily struggle of an old man suffering from Alzheimer's disease. He is living with his daughter's family, but his illness creates tension among the family members. Only his granddaughter Mina seems to find a creative explanation for the actions of her confused grandfather.
