If any other items are infected other than this, seal them away for 48 hours because lice die if they don't get to feed on human blood on a regular basis.
The person that is attacked by lice should try to bathe in hot water two times a day and do not share your personal item with any other person. If possible, you should also watch your hair in hot water. Some essential oils also help lice treatment at home. Oils like olive oil, coconut oil, tea tree oil, etc., when applied in a higher amount to the hair of lice-infected individuals, can help to suffocate the lice in your hair and also avoid them to come back.
