Training programs to ensure safety of workers
Walkie operator training is training program based on OHSA which provides teachings on inspection of machine before operation, requirements of safe operation of machine, moving and operating the machine, prevention of hazards and proper management of load. Walkie operator training is offered around southern part of Ontario including Brampton, Hamilton, Toronto, Oakville, Burlington, Waterloo, Niagara Falls, Cambridge, Mississauga Markham and Kitchener.
The Walkie operator training program is designed according to the parameters set by CSA Standard B335-15, it includes the knowledge, evaluation and practical skills required for lift operating, and OHSA (Occupational Health and Safety Act) regulation 851 pertains to safely lifting of trucks.
Duration of the training is 4 hours according to the experience of the participants and to gain the certificate of training 75% is essential.
Working At Heights Ontario
Working at heights training Ontario and the refresher course of working at heights, both the programs are approved by the CPO (Chief Prevention Officer) of Ontario. These programs are taught by the certified trainers and weekend sessions and training on short notice is also offered. All the employers who have employed workers for a task that involves working at heights Ontario should have their workers productively finish the CPO permitted working at heights training course in Ontario. The course is only valid for 3 years and 3 years period will be counted from the date of completing the training successfully.
For avoiding the certificate from expiring workers are required to complete the refresher course of working at height in Ontario. Duration of the course is 7 hours minimum and for the refresher course is 4 hours. The passing requirement is 75%.
