Division 13 is starting to bubble
It's starting to get serious in the race for the Division 13 Title, with Leinster, Gorey and Ourselves all fighting it out. This weekend Gorey travel to Leinster, while we travel to Pembroke. As far as the league stands, Leinster are in the box seat, and haven't lost a league game this season. However, a slip up in one, or both games against their fellow contenders could open a door.
Our games against Pembroke over the last number of seasons have been close and sometimes feisty affairs. Earlier in the season, Pembroke came out on the right side with a 4 wicket win. Hopefully with their 1st team involved in the Irish Senior Cup final on Saturday, there might be a few sores heads around Sydney Parade on Sunday morning and we can catch them on the hop, and return to Brannockstown with the points in the bag. All that aside, we genuinely wish Pembroke all the best in their quest to lift the Irish Senior Cup on Saturday in Milverton.
The forecast for Sunday is Sunny, with temperatures of 16-18c
