Loic is a retail and fashion expert in Japan, proposing bespoke services such as distribution audit, brand strategy, benchmark, market study, introduction of distributor, trends reports, retail safari, new retail concepts reports since 1996.
Loic started as Export Manager for French shoe brands Paraboot, Palladium and Elizabeth Stuart, overseeing their business in Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Loic successfully developed these brands in Japan (Japan is still Paraboot N.1 export market) through the select shops like United Arrows and Beams, famous department stores like Isetan, collaboration with designers like Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto and Comme des Garçons, as well as PR marketing.
In April 2001, he launched Lebiz Consulting, proposing different services such as market study, research of distributors, brand strategy, benchmark, seasonal fashion trends reports, yearly new retail concepts reports. Concurrently he launched two unique and innovative concepts, www.fashioninjapan.com, which showcases photos of the hottest trends from the streets and stores in Tokyo, and the www.TokyoFashionTour.com, a guided and customized retail safari of Tokyo.
In 2010, Loic was appointed as General Manager of the recently launched flash sales website, www.gladd.jp. After 5 years at the helm, Loic led the business to hold the No 1 position in Flash Sales sites in Japan, managing over 150 employees for a turnover of 80mUSD.
In 2016, Loic created a DTC dog food brand www.leoandlea.com, using datas, CRM, on-line marketing, marketing automation to create high conversion and retention rates.
In January 2024, Loic launched a new service specialized in enhancing Japanese customer experience for brands through a holistic methodology. After audits of off-line, on-line, marketing and CRM activities, we identify the brand personas in Japan, weaknesses and opportunities, and advise the brands with recommendations to elevate their customer experiences throughout the customer journey.
