HALVERSTOWN GALA NIGHT OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED
We are delighted to announce the launch of our Gala Dinner, to be held in the Osprey Hotel, Naas on Saturday October 23rd. The tickets will go on sale in June. They are priced at €65 each or a table of 8 for €520. On the night there will be a 4 Course Meal including Tea & Coffee. There will be Presentations from the club, a Raffle followed by a Band and DJ. All guests on the night will be given a commemoration booklet to remember the night. Smart Dress is essential.
Back in 1925, the Club held it's first ever Dinner Dance as you can see in the picture to the left. However, the night was marred by the "Non appearance" of the Band which left everyone a little bit stuck. However, the great William Walker came to the rescue by singing himself for the night to provide music for all those Dancing Cricketers.
We certainly don't envisage any such problems in 2021. It promises to be a fantastic night, so please book your tickets early to avoid disappointment as tickets are limited.
